Has anyone tried the seals on Summit made by Precision Replacement Parts? I’m looking for nice sft ones like the premium seals from Dennis Carpenter but those seem to be always out of stock.
There is a whole thread somewhere about some from Amazon. I cut and spliced using the top pieces from my WH set and the rest from the generic Amazon ones and it works pretty well but I do think it could be better.
Since my build is coming close, I might just try to heat them up with my heat gun and close and see if that helps at all cause they are decent
Ya. I remember that thread which is why I didn’t go with the ones from the typical bronco parts sellers. So hard you have to slam the doors. I ended up ordering the Metro supersoft seals through Summit. Got an email that they are out of stock lol. So much for getting things don in a timely fashion.

That was my thread about the Amazon seals. They work great on the top section but require some fabrication for the bottom as ba123 mentioned. The results depend on how much effort you want to put into it. I put in a lot…
If I was you, I would buy the NOS lowers from eBay, that eliminates the hard part, and use the Amazon seal on the top. It just clips on so no cutting and gluing would be required.
I bought a set from Northeast Classic Ford parts but have not installed them yet. Supposedly they are the cats pajamas when it comes to door seals,....I will let you know.
