Bestop Supertop Owner Question

I have never owned a soft top before and it seems from what I have read that the middle soft top bow is 3 or so inches above the windshield frame. Currently, the piece that bolts to the windshield frame which the bikini top slides into just barely fits under my garage with very little room to spare.

My question is: is it possible without too much effort to loosen the soft top and lower that middle bow a bit just enough to pull into my garage or would that be a big hassle?

Yes, it can push down fairly easy. Just need to rremember to do it. My issue was a long arm extension on the power door opener which I ended up just adjusting then cutting part of the arm off with a grinder.

Best top

I have the same problem, It fits with the bikini top but with my best top it won't fit!! It's a pain to lower it I've found it's easer to just air down in the rear tires and it fits fine, I've got a 5.5 lift with 35's but it's not a daily driver so it's not a big deal to me, I really like the quality of the best top.

just loosen the rear corners and you should be able to lean the center bow forward

sounds easy but you still need to unhook all of the Velcro around the door frames and then slide the bow back to release the door frame upper arms from their forward receptacles before the bow will lean forward. If it was a daily driver I would hate to do this very often.
