Anybody got bronco pics of bfg 33" tires mounted on the stock 15" rims.
I'm trying to decide between the 33" or 31" for my new set of tires.
Knowledge on the choice is also appreciated.
thanks

Try a search for LUBR lots of us run 33" x 10.5" on stock or 6" wide wheels.

I have a 1969 uncut, 1" BL and 2.5 SL and run a BFG KM2 235LT 85R/16 on a 16 in. x 7 in., 5 x 5.5 in. (4 in. Backspace) steel wheel.

Tire specs say -
RIM WIDTH RANGE 6-7.5"
TREAD WIDTH 9.2" 7"
OVERALL DIAM 31.7"

This is the "skinny pizza cutter" look and I don't have any rubbing and I have no complaints. I am wanting a wider "contact patch"though and I was researching the 31 x 10.50 option.

It seems most I've read about run "stock" 15 in wheels with a 31x10.50? Is this the general consensus or is anyone running a 16x6 wheel?

Here's a pic of mine with 31" KM2s. I decided to go with the white letters out.

What's your gear ratio and tranny?
That's more important than how it looks in a photo.

Not sure on the gear ratio. It is a stock 74 rear end with a 351 mated to C6. Currently, I am running 33's on a steel 16" wagon wheel. I have some stock steelies to put my new tires on. The 33's provided a nice highway rpm drop, but naturally I am geared pretty high for low speed. I don't do much in the way of crawling around here in eastern SD, most of the fun comes in the winter in the snow and ice. I'm looking forward to better bite with a skinnier tire.

I couldn't find any KM2's locally, had to go with the KM3's in a 31x10.50 on stock wheels, 2.5 inch suspension lift.

What are you folks with the uncut rear fenders running for shocks. Need a new system for my 67 U14. All of these rides look great with the size tires you are running.

To the local guys had some AT's 31" to mock up for me and I liked them so much I kept them. My steering issues went away and ice traction went from none to Awesome!
I would post pics but can't figure out how to insert an image.

Really nice stands. What shocks are you running?
