Are there any differences in the "actual body/frame" dimensions (width & length) in different year models? Obviously, a 66 would have different gas tank cap locations, rolling wind shield and or different reflector locations compared to a 77. Looking at different owner’s rides, some of the bodies look narrower in width. I am assuming that this is a “visual observation” due to different lifts that owners put on their own rides, and or wider and taller wheels & rims. Is this a true assumption, or does my 69 Bronco have different specs in width & length; compared to a 77?

Stock the bodies would be virtually identical. There are people that widen or narrow EB's so you may have seen a clean modified rig.

Wider fender flares and wheels/tires do make a dramatic difference in how wide the truck looks. Stock the tires tuck into the fenders, with aftermarket tires of even a 12.5 width on a 10" rim, they will stick out ~3+"/side adding 6+" to your overall appearance of width.

The WCB front fenders on my truck are 6" wider than stock, so my body is 1 foot wider.
