My uncle is an auctioneer who does estate sales, and specializes in farm sales in the Pacific northwest. Occasionally he puts together "choice boxes" and lets people see the first few items on top. People bid on them and haul the stuff away by the boxload.

Didn't somebody once say life is like a box of chocolates? Some people love to gamble on the chance they get something good, but they don't know what they're going to get.
