Brake hard line retainers on diff housing

Do we have a vendor selling the little pliable pieces of metal tabs to hold the brake lines in place on the differentials?

If no one sells them and they need to be cut and welded, can anyone recommend the correct material and gauge to make them?

I can't remember for sure how thick they are. 14 or 16 gauge I think. I will be at my Buddies shop working on my Bronco tomorrow, I will measure them up.

Any help is appreciated.

I’m swapping my ‘75 housing to one of the aftermarket ‘77 housings and it has no brake line tabs. Probably impractical to grind the old ones off and reuse on the new one?

I made a couple of these and dipped the tips in flex seal. I knew one day I’d have a use for flex seal

All great suggestions. JBFab's option is a good one. I think Ruffstuff sells the weld on tabs. I don't have any fabrication tools so off the shelf solutions are best, but these are really simple. I should be able cut these out and bend like Jaybr is showing. 16 Gauge?

Fender off of a 97 Mariner I bought for trans and front dress. I didn’t measure the gauge thickness but 16 sounds about right. I just cut strips and bent around a screwdriver in the vice and dipped the tips in flex seal.

I forgot to reply yesterday, sorry about that. The ones on my housings look to be 16 gauge as well.

This is what they ended up like after dipping. I’ll spray them black to match axle after I weld them on.

I’m absolutely not a fabricator, maybe one day when I retire from my day job, but these are functional and will be barely noticeable on the truck.
