I can't get my Bronco to stay running at lights and stops. She rides fine until i slow down to come to a stop; then she dies at the stop and can be very hard to start. I've checked the butterfly valve on the Carb. , changed the spark plugs, distributor cap and button. What do you guys think it is? Alt.? Timing is off? ?:? ?:? %)

Sometimes it does just cut out, but other times it kind of struggles and then cuts out. It's a 302 engine and not sure of the carb...sorry....but i just had the carb worked on ( tuned up ). I also have a brand new fuel filter. what do you think???

Is the choke sticking? Sounds like it may be flooding out. Hmmm. Float level off? Hard to tell with looking at it.

If you have a duraspark setup on it I would say the module is going bad based on my dealership experience. Tie a bag of ice on it {yes Im serious} and let it cool off. If it drives Ok then replace the module and also if you can afford it the distributer pickup. Thats usually how they start going bad

It's not dead 'til it's buried anyhow....broncos rule!!!

just keep it simple first. check air, fuel and spark...check the choke first...stickin' most likely.
