As far as I know yes. The brackets are different but seat and frames are the same. That a good deal. I’d take a couple pair if I could.

Bronco seats are 2 driver's side Mustang seats. This allows the passenger seat to fold and flip into the passenger side footwell to allow easier access to the rear seat. You could use a driver and passenger seat from a Mustang but the passenger seat won't flip up correctly.

And Broncos use 64 1/2 through 68 seats only.

Are these the same as early Bronco seats? At $100 each, maybe not a bad deal?

No. (and yes.) There are exactly zero mustang seats that are the same as Bronco seats.

The 66-67 Bronco uses 2ea of the 64.5-66 Mustang Driver's seat frame, but with different upholstery.
The 68-77 Bronco uses 2ea of the 67-69 Mustang Drivers seat lower frame, but the upper seat latch release location is different on the Bronco. The Bronco used rosette grain pleated inserts, and the Mustang did not. The 69 Mustang had a headrest feature, which can be deleted in a Bronco.

That being said, I have converted Mustang seat frames to Bronco seats with a little welding and swapping of parts.

So if you are looking to buy a correct drop in solution for your Bronco, the answer is "no." But if you are looking for components to clone a Bronco seat, the answer is "yes."

It's similar to asking whether the Mustang 302 is the same as the Bronco 302. It isn't. But many parts are the same, and it can be converted. So it is.

Well I learn something new every day. My 65 f100 ranger had buckets and a center console. Both seats tilted and looked exactly (except upholstery) like the seats in my brothers 70 bronco and my neighbors 66 mustang.

Was reading this and had a question. Are there any power seats that could be swapped into an early Bronco (1969). I know I've seen some BMW seats used and are low enough but are there any others recommended or that people use?

I'd have to do a search, but I do recall a couple other options. Someone will chime in I'm sure
