The Bushwacker flares look good when new. How well do they hold up over time and exposed to desert sun? The sun here in Az. eats tires. Can urethane flares take it?

I live in Southwest Colorado, not near as hot as where you are but still a high desert area in the valleys. I think 108 is the hottest I can ever remember here.
I have had sets on two of my past Broncos and they held up very well. The last one had for 10+ years and they still looked great. I have since switched to Gorilla warflares, I like the bigger size wheel openings so they fit my Bronco a bit better. I would think the Bushwackers are still a great product and should hold up very well for you.

I had Bushwacker Flares on my 66 for about 30 years in Phoenix, AZ. But it was garaged, and didn't get out of the garage for a 10 year stretch %). But they did hold up well, however they did get brittle over time and finally cracked apart when I leaned against the fender several years ago. At that time I went to the Gorilla Warflares and I love them!

I can’t speak for Bushwacker products but urethanes are typically known for their UV protection, abrasion, impact and chemical resistance.

I run the old school fiberglass because I can repair when (not if) they get beat up
