Buying new intake & carb, what about the EGR?

Buying new intake and carb setup and I noticed I can either buy an intake w/ EGR or without. I think the EGR is all that is left of the emmissions system on my '75 EB. If I delete the EGR with the new intake, should I expect any problems by doing so? If the EGR is removed, is there anything else I need to make sure is removed along with it?

As long as you don't need the emission controls to get it registered (depends on your state) I would get the non-egr setup. I'm in Florida and I have removed all emissions from all of my classic vehicles.
