i guess you could say mine is. its a metallic candy red
so its always changing colors to dark red, to bright red, to a candy apple red, to maroon, turned out good, i love it and when the sun hits it, it really pops!

I sold DuPoint paint for 30 year that was most likely the most ask question ...Candy Apple Red was no. 4737 ah ...4737 dh...4737LH ..& UH ..If AH doesn't work change the "H" TO an "M" ...then there is true candy colors ...My best description is Candy is a system ..House of colors made true candy colors.

House of Colors definitely has the Candies. I have sprayed a few in my day.;D Just did a 72 Monte Carlo for a guy last year in Chicago. Yellow candy. not my bag of chips, but looked cool. He ended up putting air chocks on it and 22"s.%)

Not a Bronco but a nice shade of red.

This isn't candy, bust the color is close. It looks really good in the sun from about 15 feet, just don't get any closer.

Gitup73 I can't do much for you today ..the turds that wound up with my store and set of Dupont books ..They trashed the old stuff said it wasn't any good any more ..Because they didn't know how to cross the no. over Now they don't even sell Dupont ..
....Today I'm not sure I'd even use Dupont if I could get it ...Seems to me more show cars are painted with PPG today..
....After the dupont deal I worked for a Matrex paint co.. for a while ...It's just as good if not better ..It's a knok off ..owner of the Texas franchise is Doug Davison out of Belton Texas ..If he still owns it ..It was much cheaper and just as good ..
