Well I hope everyone has a great a weekend as I did. The wife and I headed over to South Haven early on Friday afternoon. We took all 2 lane roads through the countryside and really enjoyed the weather. We got to South Haven about 5:30 and checked into the "Inn at the Park" bed and breakfast
http://www.innpark.com/ . It is a very nice place to stay. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast were very good. It is also very close to the downtown area so you can just walk to most of the shops and restaurants in the area. After checking in we cruised over to Clementine's for the best perch dinner you will find in Michigan
http://www.ohmydarling.com/. After a quick walk through town it was to head back to get some rest. I got to the car show early and was able to park in the shade. It was a perfect day of sun and warm weather. I was able to meet Vincon from this site and he had his sweet, green restored bronco. I remembered reading the thread on his build and while back and if anyone gets a chance to talk to Vince he is a great guy. I am trying to get him to come to Silver Lake next month. After the car show the wife and I headed over to "Salt of the Earth" restaurant in Fennville
http://www.saltoftheearthfennville.com/ . Some of the best food you have tasted. Everything is homemade, even ketchup and mustard. I highly recommend checking out this place if you have time. Then it was back to South Haven for another night rest. Got up on Sunday and cruised over by the beach then headed home, again cruising the less traveled two lane roads. I can't thank my wife enough for making a great and fun weekend and not minding the loud tires and exhaust on the bronco and making it just a great weekend all around. Here are some pics from the show.
Vincon took a Top 50 award for his bronco.
Some views of the harbor.
Found this sitting along the road near Paw Paw Michigan.
What a great place to relax and hit the beach or go to a nice place to eat. I love the State of Michigan and all it has to offer.
