Does anyone have a new Centech Wiring Harness Instruction book? I need the page with the steering colum wiring instructions for a 72'. They have the code in there, which wires and pins connect to colum color wires. Color codes. If anyone has that page they could e-mail or fax I would greatly appriciate it. I have a brake light short at that plug. Thanks in advance

I don't believe they have wiring set up for a 72. I think the wiring schematic is for the 77. The only difference I know of is the hazard switch. 77 is on the colum 72 in on the dash....
Other than that the wires should be the same.

I have the book and can look tomorrow. I imagine they are all the same since my 73 has a later model switch in it cause I have hazards on the dash and column. Worste case just trace the wires with a tester, but I'll see what I can dig up. I know I have it I haven't installed mine yet ;)

When I installed mine the 73 auto column had a switch in it that was in pretty decent condition so I didn't replace it. but very few of the colors actually matched either of the documents that I got with my harness. I ended up getting familure with the way the thing was supposed to work and then figuring out what color was what on my switch and hooking it up from there. I'll try to remember to bring it in to work tomorrow and give you the scoop from there.
