cheap windshield braces

went to the hardware store and bought( 2 ) 5/15 x 9" turnbuckles for 1.99 each,plus a keeper nut for each.I plan on making a small bracket out of angle iron and rounding the corners to weld to my roll bar.Bolt to angle iron piece and windshild frame and im done all under 5 bucks$$$$$;D
sorry no pics...but pretty simple job

I did mine like that as well, but I used nylock nuts. Just wanted to make sure they didn't back off.

I use inexpensive turnbuckles and they work just fine. Here is a pic:
