Oh man I can't wait until quitin time!!! Look what the brown truck brought me today!!!

I want to thank Wild Horses for the excellent service and fast shipping. I'm very happy with that experience. I also ordered stuff from LMC and am also very happy with that service.

I was a little upset earlier this week because I ordered everything on Monday and Wild Horses shipped everything right same day to ensure it would get here quickly but LMC waited until Wednesday to ship my order. I was upset that I didn't think it would be here by Friday. But they have redeemed themselves since both shipments arrived today :) Now i can have a fun weekend working on the Bronco. On another note, LMC has great customer service and took care of an issue for me rather quickly so this is in no way a bashing thread.

So back to the real fun, I can't wait to get my new toys painted and installed.

I'll post more pics later this weekend.

The grill looks great. I have been thinking about ordering a new one rather than trying to repair my also.

Paint question.

When you get no body parts like this, are they ready for primer and paint or do I need to sand them or clean them with something?

Also, Bare metal should be treated with metal conditioner. That way when you get a rock chip in the front (wich you will) it won't rust and start a blister. Follow directions on cleaning after applying. I like epoxy primer for a bare metal primer. Mix let set but spray within 2 hours. 2 hours pot life. It wil still look ok and spray ok but after 2 hours it will not flow out like you want. If that grill is Really strait you can paint base coat over epoxy without a sealer. Again the manufacurer will give a time frame on top coating. I have used epoxy primer as sealer in a lot of situations.
