Chrome Exterior Trim Types on a 74

I ordered some replacement exterior trim for my 74 front fender and tailgate from Tom's Bronco Parts. However, when I got it in, I realized it looks nothing like the trim that is on my rig. I'm not sure if the PO installed some weird aftermarket trim or what..

Here is what is on my rig

Were there different types of trim for the 74? Has anyone seen trim like this before?

You had some funky non Bronco trim on there.

The new stuff you got is correct for all years that had it available (67-77?).

I definitely ordered the right type.. After I got it in, I started looking at pics of other broncos with trim and they all look like the stuff I ordered.

I'd just like to know where the hell the stuff I have on mine came from. I wasn't planning on buying an entire trim package. And it mostly still looks really good.

I hope you don't have a Corvair dressed up like a Bronco.

Seems I have a few pieces of that trim laying around or have seen it before too. Weird. And not correct. I'd say return what you have and buy the 400 dollar set of right trim.

If the previous owner used that stuff.. I hate to see what I run into when I start stripping paint.

Nice to know you can buy a full set of cut your own aftermarket "chrome" trim.. for all those folks that want to make their lowered B2200s a real show stopper.
