• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

well, it's rougher than I thought...

It'll be interesting following the auction. Wonder what the reserve is.

profit

Guess I should have gave $1100 on Mon. I bidded $1700 for shit and giggles and didn't meet the reserve. I may finish off this case and go $3k to see how much a 66 needing complete restoration is worth.
Hell at this rate I may have to put the 77, 74,73 and the complete 76 running gear with all my extra parts up for $5K and see where it goes.
I love getting snowed in!

final price

Finished at $1725, $500 profit is not bad. I really thought it would do $2+ on ebay. I really didn't need another one sitting around after all, feel better about passing. Guess economy is hurting everyone.

Not making much off if it right now, but who knows what he actually paid for it, since asking price was $1100.

Ha! The guy thought he had a gold mine! Probably now thinks of it as an albatross and will be happy just to be rid of it.
Lesson learned.

I used to get stuff all the time when I was younger and would tell my dad what it was worth but inevitably I never got what I thought it was valued at, then one day my dad told me "Something is only worth what some one will pay you for it, not what others value it at." A lesson I have kept with me all these long years.

winning bid

$1850 now if he the winning bidder comes through. Who knows??

Can't stop thinking I should have took it at $1100. Of course, economy makes it difficult. I also can't stand trying to sell on Ebay, but may give the 77 a shot.
