Crown Victoria Vic seats in a Bronco

I need new seats for my 73. I used to have Ford ZX2 leather seats, and they fit really really well. They were destroyed by mice. I am now searching for options. I am looking at seats from Crown Victoria "Vic" cop cars. The passenger seats were most likely never used. I am thinking I could get two passenger seats and install them. Has anyone used Crown Vic seats in their Bronco?

I haven't but if you're looking for options 94-04 mustang seats fit nicely and can be had fairly cheaply. I ran a set for 10 years before swapping to mastercrafts

All joking aside, I think the seats in my wife's 2020 Chevy Equinox would look good in a Bronco. Her seats are black with dark grey insets. 2019 and older had a different color scheme that I didn't care for, and I know the color she has went at least through '22. Just gotta get past that dang bowtie...

Do you think they would fit okay in a half cab?? Stock EB seats are all right for a few mile, but they don’t provide enough support. Plus, my seats are pretty much gonna need reupholstered.

X2 on Mustang seats, mine came out of a 90's ish convertible. I hammered flat the rear tabs on the back of the sliders (that came with the seat) and bolt and go. 2nd pic is 05-09 Mustang seats that also work.

I don't see why they wouldn't, I even used the mustang seat brackets, I just had to modify them slightly to make them line up with the bolt holes in the Bronco. The 94-04 mustang seats are dimensionally similar to the stock bronco seats, but are high back with a head rest

I run Ford Fusion seats in my 66 & really like them for comfort - I'm sure they are similar to the Mustang seats just another option if shopping for cheap seats.

Can you get more pictures of these fusion seats? Door open and a few more angles. Wife just got a 2019 Fusion and that was the first thought that ran through my mind. They look like the perfect seat for the early bronco.

Sure - Here's one I had on my other PC - I'll get more this weekend when I get out in the garage & move some stuff around, I'm driving my 73 right now so the 66 gets buried until I want to work on it. I did remove the power stuff as that would make the base too tall & I used the original Bronco sliders. They bolted in easy & I also used the Fusion 3 point belts right to the rollbar & floor - works great.

What year of fusion are the seats from? They look like they fit well.

You removed the power stuff from under the seat. I was wondering how high the bottom sat up from the floor. Cant tell in this picture so probably couldn't leave the power mechanisms and sit low enough?

Power mechanism is too tall to use it on the drivers side. I forgot I put some spacers in between the rail & the seat. They're about an inch tall.
Last pic is the passenger front mount - non-tilting now. I'm doing function over fashion on this Bronco. Console actually moves forward some - I was working on adding the twin sticks before I switched to my other project.

I've used 2 sets of 1987 & 89 Bronco II seats. in my half cab. I LIKE the way they set. Comfortable & Skinny enough to not add much bulk into the halfcab..
Have you priced recovering Lately. you best buy a set that don't need recovering.. In my area a new upholstery job is $1000.00 now..
SO GOING WITH THE COLORS that come on the seat is almost a must any longer..
... & Keep in mind after getting different seats into you Bronco .. You'll most likely go to thinking GEE I HAVE TO HAVE a new steering column & It's got to tilt.. Just another can of worms. Just saying ..
