Custom Brake Lines

I am almost to the point where I need to install brake lines on my new axles and was wondering if theres a company who makes custom stainless soft lines? Or even generic lengths of liek 18" 24" 36" etc...?

See I have a Fullsize 44 on my Bronco and no real way to mount up a hard line then swith to a soft line over the ball joint so I would like to run stainless soft lines from the T-Block all the way out. Is there anything wrong with this setup or should I try to fab up a hardline/soft line junction point?

For the rear I am gonna bend up my own stainless hard lines, and run new lines down the frame and redo the entire brake setup so everything else is covered I was just wondering about this...

You want as little flexible line as possible. Redo the hard lines like stock. Hoses can/will expand and make your brakes a bit spongy and less effective.

DO NOT change the size of the brake tubing. 3/16 is what you need to stay with.

I would not run all soft lines. That's just ghetto. You will not see an improvement in braking, and it will cost you more. In fact, you will not see an improvement over new reenforced rubber lines. I know this because I've used both. It's all hype over that SS stuff.

Measure your length's and got steel lines with fittings from your local parts place, if you need it longer etc..be sure to only use STEEL union's etc...Brass should NEVER be used on brake systems... Grab you a cheap tubing bender and you can bend the lines to where they look stock...

I noticed that too with my full size HP Dana44. It has a on piece line (hard/soft) from the junction on the axle to the caliper.

I plan to just swap it like the EB Dana44 with the tabs so I could run T-Bird calipers and hoses.

Uhhhh, brass is what's used stock and on stock-replacement lines for most junction blocks and banjo-bolt blocks. I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, but brass does just fine in braking applications.

Did you mean copper or brass brake hard line?
