I've been waiting for someone to post or make a tech article on some custom rear bumbers with tire carrier and gas cans. Someone finally did in issue #4 of the Bronco Driver mag.

I was wondering if some others would follow suit, maybe post them here for tech. articles. I am looking for some ideas. I don't see very many Broncos with custom rear bumpers.

If you got pictures some where let me know where I can view them.

Thanks Blackjack

Dan is right , check the links . You can get some ideas from them . I have two bolt on bumpers for the rear of mine , one for hunting with a step or platform running the width of it . The other is a 3"X6" tube with a spare tire carrier , can mount and a cooler mount . Sometimes you have to make form fit function .

Building a rear bumper / tire carrier is not that hard. I looked at the tech section to get ideas. If you want something really nice take your time and don't be afraid to start all over. I had my bumper almost done and scrapped it. Make everything longer than needed then cut it down to your needs, take your time. Check out some of the Heep catalogs for ideas. I saw some nice bumpers in 4 wheel drive Hardware catalog that I wish I had seen before I did mine.
