I got this fiber glass hood that has no holes, just depressions, for where the heater vents n' such are...

my question is; if i cut holes in it how badly will the structural integrity be hindered? will the fiber glass fray out once cut? has anyone done this before?

thanks, Jess

I used a jig saw with a fine blade and a rotozip, the roto zip was faster. Used a round file in the corners.

the structural integrity will be fine. Use a dremel, jigsaw or what every you have access to. Go slow and take your time and it will come out looking beauty. Remember to where a mask and safety glasses. You dont want that crap in your eyes or lungs. Good Luck!
