D44 Dust Shelds

Do I need them on a mostly street rig with factory front disks? If so, has anyone had a problem with the after market sheilds from Bronco Graveyard? When mounted properly, mine hit the lower ball joint casting and bend out of shape.

I quit using them.

I have them. They work fine. Once I removed the axle though and put it on the floor....forgetting about the shields. Now they are all bent up....

I ditched both the front and rear ones on mine when I converted to discs.
