Six months ago or so, I was rear ended in the Bronco. F150 hit me on a sweeping right turn. Fortunately we were slow rolling the turn waiting for traffic to clear so we could merge. Anyway the 35” spare took most of the impact, driving into the newish repop tailgate, bending the tire mount towards the vehicle and slightly bending the outside of the bumper at the frame. The tailgate has two areas on the upper body molding that have been pushed in under the tire impact. Other that that it’s a newer tailgate, not painted, probably three years old. Bumper is a Protofab Tube bumper that they have discontinued. It is powder coated, but the coating is flaking badly since the impact. Seems to be delaminating and now has surface rust. The bend on the swing away kinda matches the angle of the tail gate now. It still works as is.
Fortunately the guy had great insurance. New bumper and tailgate incoming.
I want offer up the take offs, bumper and tailgate. I will not ship. I’m in Montgomery Texas. If you want them, you’ll need to come get them. I’ll let them go for $150ea, or buy them both for $200.
