Dana 20 popping out of low

I have a recently rebuilt Dana 20 with a twin stick that pops out of low on the rear when under load. I'm sure that it's not a clearance or linkage issue and that it is fully engaging. Seems like I've read different things like changing the detent spring to a stiffer one and even notching the shift rail, but I'm looking for advice on what has worked. Thanks for any help.

That will definitely help! Not the bungee part, but the other info. Thank you.
