If anyone has their '76-'79 F150/Bronco Dana 44 currently disassembled,
would you please measure the inside diameter of the spindle bore? Thanks.

EDIT: My spindle bores measured 1.292" I.D.

If you go to Rock Auto and spec that spindle it should give you specs.
Rock Auto lists the spindle bearing, seal, nut & retainer but not the spindle itself.

If not spec the bearings and get the dimensions.
The wheel bearings don't help me. I'm referring to the spindle bore (smallest) I.D.

From what I can tell, it's ~1.3". I couldn't get my calipers down far enough into the backside of the main bore but it appears to be the same there as the i.d. at the end of the spindle snout.

BTW - your name looks familiar. Years ago when I was wondering around in one of my local junkyards in the middle of a blazing summer and discovered the big Lincoln caliper upgrade for the early Bronco community, I shortly thereafter read about it on a big Bronco forum and I think it was a Danny Cabral that posted the info. Same guy?
