Did disc brakes come stock on 75"s

Looking at buying a 75 EB that has a disc brake D44. The owner is telling me the truck came stock with the disc.
I had read that the stock disc did not start until 76. Is this the case or is he telling me right.

I hadnt heard of that any late 75's did but all 76 and 77's did. Maybe it is actually a 76 and he is just reading on the door tag the buid date that was probably in 75.

Here Recently A Lot Of People Have Been Getting That Mixed Up. That Is Probably The Case.

thats true, he said it was built Nov 75 which could make it a year model 76. He doesnt have the title so he was probably just looking at the door tag.
