I am wanting to do a disc conversion for my 74 and I have been unable to find any D44s off a 78-79 (nor 73-79 F150) bronco in the local junkyards.

I have found a Ford D44 that the owner tells me is from either a 78-79 F100 or F150 but he cant remember which. I have been unable to find any information on how to tell the difference vs why a f100 D44 wont work for the conversion.

Can anyone help me clarify this?

There is no difference. And if memory serves..the F-100 model 4x4 was gone after '77 anyways.. But no matter.

Ditto doesnt really matter what its from as long as its a 5 lug D44 with discs it will work for a swap onto a bronco D44.
