Door latch striker issue

I'm going to start a new thread and clarify what my problem is. I purchased a 72 Bronco. Hingers, latches and striker are shot. Ordered new everything. Latches show up wrong. Come to find out I have the earlier style doors with the bolt on window frames. After doing some reading the stiker placement is different from the early to the latch Broncos. I was hoping somebody has encountered the same problem and tell me what the measurements would be for the doors to close correctly. I've got new latches and strikers coming for a 68 Bronco, but I know the striker placement needs to be changed. I need help figuring out how and where to locate the striker. Thanks for the help guys.

What strikers do you have oval or round? While a 72 should have oval ones the body could have been swapped to a 66/67 body that has round strikers which would also account for the removeable window frames.
Another thing that is common is someone replaced the doors with earlier (66-68 doors. While 68 doors should be the same as 72 doors as far as latches and strikers if they used 66/67 doors a common fix was to move the door latch up about 3/4" and still use 72 style latches you should be able to tell as there will be a gap under the latch.
