I evidently had too much time on my hands so I made these trim pieces for my door panels. These fit over the door panels I made and sold a while back.

What do you guys think?

goofy looking? Cheesy looking? Way cool? Sucks?

Lets hear it...

x2. I like the script one myself - slick stuff and another great idea! You can sell these, easy. I'd buy a pair and I dont even have a bronco.

The only thing about selling these is that there is a lot of wasted material. This would drive the price up pretty high. They would be higher than the door panels themselves. Unless I could also find something to cut out of the "center" of the trim piece. Here are a couple of photos of my glove box door I made a while back. I could laser cut these out of the same part.

Any of you vendors interested? ;D;D

I like the bronco script one too! I could use a new glove box door when I install my roll bar next summer. Throw a price out there.

I like the script ones, you interested in selling the whole panels? I'm in the early to middle stages of building a 74 and the door panels will be to be replaced. ;D

I like them, especially the script one. Couldn't you make them two-piece with a horizontal split and nest them or offset to save on wasted material? It's not like they're structural.. just my .02.. I'd buy a set!

I will come up with a price and post it in the for sale section. I have to do these in quantity to make it worth while. At least 10 or 12 sets at a time.

The last time I made the door panels I sold them with all new SS hardware delivered for $70.00 a set. I am thinking the trim panels would be around $50.00 a set. These are powder coated either black or white. I can do custom colors but that would add more cost.

The glove box door doesnt have a lot of material but it has a fair amount of labor in them. I will have to say it does look a lot better than the Tuffy door. Maybe not as secure but certainly as secure as the stock door.

To save a few bucks I usually make these parts out of some sheet metal drops from other jobs. Let me see what I can come up with.

Looks cool to me. I am not ready to purchase now, but I am ditching my Diamond Plate door panels and going with either smooth aluminum or the stainless steel ones. I think your border pieces would look good against those.
Great job

Great job

I couldnt quarantee that my trim pieces would match someone elses pattern. I can make them from stainless or Aluminum but that is so expensive it didnt make sense to me. The Bronco houses sell them in stainless and some of them emboss the mounting holes which wouldnt well with these trim pieces anyway.

I think the glove box door is more trick than the door decor......Is it made of aluminum or steel? I would like to know the costs of the dash door. Thanks.....Oh and as close as you are to me, I'm sure you could install it....LOL!!!

Maybe with the drops you could make some of the Bronco script and the buckin Bronco itself if anybody wanted to pop rivet or doule sided tape them onto anything on their trucks....Just a suggestion....;D

I like the Bronco script version. So you're thinking about selling just the trim or the panels too?
