Is there a stock drop pitman arm to use on my 1970 Bronco, I am lifting it 5.5 inches? I think that I can use one from something else just not sure from what though, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Nothing that I know of that came stock will have anything close to what your looking for. Its easier just to buy one most of the good systems come with the drop pitman arm
I see them sell on Ebay all the time for about $50. I had a brand new one that I did not need and sold it for $40 on Ebay last week. The bronco suppliers all sell them for about $50 as well. One thing that might eliminate the need for one is if you go ahead and do the TRO steering conversion when you do your lift. That is what I did and when you put the tie rods on top, they work good with the stock pitman arm. Mine lined up perfect and that is why I sold the drop arm that came with my 5.5 lift. Just something you might want to think about. There are additional advantages of the TRO modification such as reduced bump steer and more ground clearance for your drag link and so on. Good luck!
