Duff trail door latch

Just got my new Duff trail doors. There wasn't any instructions, and I don't see how the latch bolt is suppose to stay tight. It has a welded nut in the frame that's not a lock or nylon nut. I suppose you have to leave the bolt loose so that the latch will move. So, What keeps the bolt from coming out.
Oh, also, the pictures online are from an older version that has the bolt going the opposite direction.

Anyone install this new version yet?

What say you, the latch set up you sell SUCKS. Theres no way you tested the latch and decided hey this works well, cuz it don't

Did you not get plastic bushing/washer? Thats usually allows you to snug down the bolt and allows the handle to turn. Just a thought.
