i would not recommend this stuff ... i decided i was gonna used the textured for my bed liner and the smooth for my body. so i followed all the guidelines and well the textured seemed to go on well and seems pretty tough except at edges its starting to peel already like its just a skin over primer and didnt actually bite in. take it in this week to a body shop to have them spray the smooth and they do as all the instructions said had to thin it down to get it to even spray and all it wants to do is run and not spray consistent so needless to say him and i are spending next two days ripping this stuff off . :-[

i think the part in the bed may hold up ok as long as it dont keep peeling up at edges where i ran my tape to but the stuff we sprayed i guess is just a 140 dollar mistake live and learn but ill spread the word

I used this product on the top and bottom of my complete tub and it has held up real well with no peeling anywhere. We really prepped properly and I am happy with the results. I used the crinkle style in Grey and have no experience with the smooth product. I would contact Durabak on their website and ask them what the heck happened with the spray on smooth product. They need to know why and how it failed, maybe they will work something out with you. You would really help out others on this forum with good information as to why it failed.

I used textured durabak on the bed on my truck 3+ years ago and I am very happy with it. No peeling cracking ecetera. But I know that I spent quite a bit of time on prep work so that's why its stayed on so well.
