1974 Bronco.

Came with duraspark I. I installed painless and upgraded to blue grommet duraspark to ECM. I have no spark out of the coil to distributor. Any ideas?

I shouldn’t need to do anything different with Distributor?

Your 74' came with the predecessor to Duraspark called Breakerless. Did you pick up an aftermarket DSII harness? Your distributor should trigger the DSII module just fine.

The '74 harness had 7 wires, the Duraspart II has 6. The blue wire was deleted and 2 of the other wires are in reversed positions. So the DS 2 module needs a DS 2 harness.

check you wiring if you used any of the old, I wired a bronco couple years ago it had a green grommet and the wiring was different from the blue grommet.

Hey ransil, he's got a all new Painless harness along withe the new painless DSII harness, so his wiring should be okay.

I was trying to advance/retard my timing to see if that was an issue and found my distributor to be stuck. Would that be hindering my issue. any awesome ideas to get it unstuck
