• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Not much left on that one. The roll bar is about it. The front shock mounts aren't even correct.

Roll Bar may not even be correct - the top bar is flat(mine has a peak) and the back bars look like they are lower than mine & others I have seen. This could be because it's an early one when they were still figuring them out.

Actually, I know both his Bajas and the seller. The yellow 71 on eBay is extremely rust free. It's about the dryest I've seen. Alot of that is original primer in the pics you see of the undercarriage. So, it had the rollbar from the start. Whats in there now, is the last owner's idea of a cleaner 1 -piece bar. He was afraid of having it bolt together, and had a fab shop cut the feet of his STroppe bar and weld what he thought was a cleaner more low-profile bar to the original feet. So it bolts right in as it was using the original Stroppe feet of thebar. I supplied the truck with an original bar as a replacement and though the ebay ad doesn't say so, the bar is included. So this truck has more history too...sold new at a dealer in PHX that is no longer, it was purchased by the manager of a mine in Bagdad, AZ. For years I heard from folks at shows, internet, etc, about a Baja Bronco that was pretty badazz and owned by "a mine". Turns out the guy who owned it managed the shop that made all the mining equipment for the mine. He ordered the Baja with minimal options and had his guys fab up his own dual shocks, power steering, and bumpers. Apparently about 10 years ago, someone got hold of the pretty original Baja and painted/modified it as you see it here. I had heard reports of it in faded but original paint with big bumpers, etc. It also had lights on the hardtop and a luggage rack on the hardtop. Light brackets and luggage rack are still on it. The 75 he has is pretty highly optioned and unrestored....and ...NOT for sale..

Andrew, Cool info - I knew that bar wasn't right but I also knew the rest of the "Baja" was clean.
