All I am doing the conversion for the early style lenses on the grill...Or so I thought it was going to be a conversion.. I think I realize what the extra pieces are for that came with the fiberglass grill ;)

So... it is even easier than I thought.

With that said, on the lenses... are 6 small tabs. Is there a small chrome moulding that goes around the lense or on the socket? Does the lense somehow clip into the old style buckets? If they clip I may just want to purchase the old style buckets. Maybe a bit picky but I don't like the tabs exposed... the buckets/scokets may seat in between the tabs and all would be flush. Any pictures of an older style socket?

Thanks,

-Ed

Problem solved... I was able to grind a bit more on the radii of the socket, which allowed it to drop in a bit more which makes it flush with the grill. The tabs are hidden.
