We'll its finally time to start on my 68'. Just got a new Visa and the O.K. from the wife so let the charging begin. Was wondering if there are any "Bronco specific" parts vendors on the east coast. I'm in East TN. and the shipping can get pretty costly when ordering from out west. I'll be ordering my replacement sheet metal (floor pans, rockers, door post etc...) first ,so if you know of any good vendors out this way , please let me know. I've already gutted the inside and will get some pics posted later. Thanks!

Thanks Broncolove! I knew about Carpentars and Krafters but never knew where Jeff's was located. I just assumed Jeffs was out west somewhere with the rest of them. I am kinda hesitant about ordering from Jeffs because of some of the negative feedback I have read about them, but I guess you'll here bad things about all the vendors if you listen long enough. I like the looks of Jeff's pans so I'll give them a call. Thanks!

Also alot of the body panels the different vendors sell come from Carpenter. I don't know why Carpenter is so expensive but yet their stuff sells alot cheaper on others sites. Also some of the body panels are made over seas and from what I have read are pretty much junk or reguire alot of triming and fitting not to mention being a thinner metal in some cases. Also you can try a place called Bronco Connection. They sell alot of used stuff some of the body panels might be a bit ruff but easily fixed. Good luck with your truck and be sure to post ALOT of pictures ;D

HILBILLY,

There you are. Good to hear you are getting the go ahead on the '68. I get most of my stuff from Jeff's. They usually get it here in 3 days. Have had good success with them and you do save on shipping. I got a lot of stuff for my '74 out west, and shipping really kills the deal. B.C.'s Duff's, Wildhorses are all out west and have nice stuff too, I got one of my bumpers and most of my lift out west Floor pans I got at Jeff's.. Make sure when you order from Jeff's that they check to see if it is in stock. We'll get together soon if you want. I was by your way the other day again, but was working and couldn't stop. Let me know if I can help with anything, or I might have something laying around that you can use for the buildup.

See ya,
