I have been all over and cannot decide where it should go, I am not into drilling my frame, and the original won't work, the small bulkhead where the aux filler neck comes in won't work, too crowded with the new style filler neck ( with vent)and tank to get rid of the puking back during fuel filling. where did you mount yours? Pictures?

No pictures....but mine is on the inside of the frame right behind the axle. I drilled and tapped 2 holes.

I put it on the outside of the frame forward of the drivers side rear wheel. Hard lined to both tanks. It's a good spot because it's right between both tanks. My fuel lines are on the outside of the frame to keep them away from the exhaust pipes.

Sorry can't send photo since I'm a cheap Guru!

I just mounted it in the original spot ( a bit to the left), it is holding the tank down about an inch, is that gonna be a problem?

Ok I talked myself into drilling my frame and mounting it outside the frame I like the opportunity of getting the fuel lines away from the pipes, so I will do this too at the same time, but I changed my mind about taping the frame , I have a nutsert tool so I will go get some more 5/16 nutserts tomorrow from work and geterdone;)
