Anybody have a factory serpentine system that they used with the vintage air a/c & heater system? I'd like both, but wondering if I can use a factory compressor w/that vintage air system on my 71 Bronco? I currently have a 351W that I eventually want both EFI and serpentine belt setup, along w/the vintage air ac

Thx for any thoughts/links.

I have the classic auto air system on mine and used the stock explorer compressor. I used the stock a/c line manifold that bolts to the stock compressor. Just have the tubes cut and a/c hose fittings welded on. mine works great. Hope this helps.

You can get new fittings and hoses from DOCS BLOCKS that fit the explorer compressor that's what I did

A/C components need to be matched up to work properly. I don't think Ford uses the same expansion device as Vintage Air. I think I remember seeing an adapter to install the Sanden compressor that Vintage air uses onto an factory serp setup. I saw it either at BC or the Vintage Air site. Call George at Vintage or Chuck at BC. They have been really helpfull.
