I am interested in getting Extreme Duty Lower Coil Spring Cups from wildhorses and was wondering if they work well, plus by looking at them do they keep the springs in the stock position or do they change the height plus or minus?
I have the James Duff ones, I think they are about the same, I like them, simple to install, I don't think it changes the ride height. It is a piece of flat plate bolted to the radius rod.
They should not effect ride height. The biggest advantage I think (I run them front and rear) is that it allows the coil to swing out of the bucket for articulation more so than the stock set up. If it were a street rig I'd stick with stock. They do clang around some offroad but I've got other noises to drown that clanging out.

This sums it up. No noticeable height change. They are all about giving the coil more movement offroad. Nothing you are going to notice on the street. I run them on our 76 daily driver and the Mare.
