fishing rod / gun rack

anybody have a good way to transport fishing rods? we trout fish alot in the summer and trying to figure out a way to store the rods when moving from place o place with out just throwing them in the back.

I have seen people use large PVC and mount it to the safari rack

I was thinking about some kind of clips to hold em on the roll bar but pipe might work

Yeah it was some of the larger diameter PVC with screw ends so the rods don't slide out... Looked interesting and could be painted any color. Just a thought.

The pvc pipe with screw on ends works well but, if the caps get hard to unscrew, DO NOT use WD-40 on them. It works as well a pvc glue. Don't ask me how I know.
