Floor Kit questions

The original flooring in my 1975 Bronco is in pretty rough shape. I'm going to replace it but want to put in an insulation kit. It looks to me like a carpet kit would make more seanse to fit over insulation but wondered if anyone has done it and what your experience is.

Also, if you have recommendations of flooring products that have good quality and fit I'd appreciate hearing that as well.

Thanks!

ACC carpet, most expensive, thickest, plushest, best fitting kit I tried, I tried 3 different versions from vendors.

I did spray in bed liner, plus strategic placement of dynamatt, or dynafoam i think its called, ACCmatt fit right over it.
