Ford/Dodge NP435 differences?

Wondering what the differences in the Ford -Dodge NP435 are? Is it just the output shaft length-spline count or are there others?

NP=New Process
435 's are about the same, some have longer tails, usually 2WD, the shorter ones for the match up to the xfercase, which mate, the divorced has longer cones too, they were used in chebbies too.
