Ford Shop Manual

Hey guys, I’ve been looking for a Ford shop manual for my ‘74. I came across this set online and I’m wondering if this set includes the Bronco or if the Bronco is in the “car” edition of Ford’s shop manual? I don’t want to buy the wrong set and then be stuck with it.

If there is a different manual that is better recommended for a newbie like me that likes to turn a wrench and learn at the same time, please chime in.

Thanks!

I don’t see a link in your post but the Ford manuals include Broncos with the trucks and vans. The 1974 manuals would look like this set.

My bad! Thanks for pointing that out. Here is the manual I’m referring to. It looks to be the same as the one you posted.

That set of manuals in the lower set of pics doesn’t look right - most are separate books. Only volumes 3&4 are together, not 2 thru 5. Compare the two pics - the one Slowleak posted is correct.

PM me if the other deal doesn’t work out, think I have a set.

If you've got a half-decent printer, I really like the pdf version. Though I prefer the books for single models, I think just printing pages outta the larger "all truck models for 74" is a bit more manageable. Also pretty cheap.

I have the shop manuals for 72 and 76, they both include all Ford truck models, including the Bronco.

Woah! Where can I find a .pdf version? I much rather prefer electronic.

I have the CD version for my 74, it's great to use, just print of the information you need.

I think it's a good idea to have both. The paper books are faster to find the info you want then print the specific pages. The books last a lot longer that way.

I also prefer the paper books, they are easy to review and easy to take into the garage and throw up on the hood or bed of the truck while working on something.

Reprints might be the way to go. Pages in my original ones are turning brown and turning loose....
