So I'm back at it again with my second bronco for 600 bucks! It's a 1973 302 auto. Motor runs it has good bones. Lights whipers all work. Frame is solid and floors look half decent ill know more when I get all into it.

So I got a little deeper in the bronc today and I'm gonna need two front fenders a good windshield rockers and and some floorboards lol. Everything else is pretty solid inner fenders, fire wall the metal under the good right by the windshield it's all solid. I'm surprised. Well see as I get deeper in the truck. I'm pullin the dash tomorrow and ten gonna start cutting out the bad metal.

I'm keeping it. Going balls deep and doing a frame up!
Anyone have any input on the tub is it salvageable or should I look for another one?

Heck yeah the motor and trans are great minor work and cleaning up brake lines are all still new so I'm gonna take the body off sand blast por 15 everything paint. Then go from there just trying to decide if the body is to far gone I need door jams front and rear as well as new rockers inner fenders floor pans under the dash and the bed area

Your in the North East belt so i'm sure a solid body is just as hard to come buy there as it is here. From what i can see it looks better than mine.

Pull the body and work on the frame/drivetrain while keeping eyes open for something better along the way. If nothing better comes along stick with what you got. You will learn quick with a grinder/welder if you don't know already.

First thing I would do before you go any further is vacuum up and then power wash all that rat/mouse crap out. It can make you deathly sick.

Nervous is good but just take the time to do it correctly and it will take time lots of it. I haven't really touched my body (the bronco of course lol) in a repair sense and I dread when i have to do so.

I just look at it this way... Have fun working on it without killing yourself. it will be done some day. Hopefully your younger than me as i'm hoping to have mine done before i'm 6 feet under;D
