• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of modifying my 66 fuel fillers to the 77 style fillers with doors.

I know it's a lot of work but I might be painting the Bronco this summer and would really like to do this mod before paint.

What I'm looking for is a 77 donor to take the filler tubes(found them), plastic boxes(found them), doors (found them), and a small clips from the quarter pannels(found them.)
Since I've got a reserve tank I'd need more than one.

OR if you've just got some of the parts that's good too, just let me know what you've got.

Thanks again for helping me track down more parts!

Chris in L.A.
PS Here's some pics of what I'm looking for.

You can get them out of a truck or a full size bronco and I think there the same.

Deano, I think the truck filler doors are a bit bigger than our Broncos BUT I will look into it. Maybe I'll just measure them at Fab Fords...

gtnorga, thank you for the tip on kb6677! You were correct, I spoke with him and he's a great guy. I think I'll get the filler tubes only from him, he's going to run a fuel cell.

Thank you!
Chris

stubby1 is gonna pull the rear quarter on his 77 and just run a 23 gal rear tank without the fuel doors. You might be able to swap for whatever you need. He's in torrance. Send him a pm.
