• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Help. PO left out the E-brake Acutator Arm, Spreader Bar, & Spreader Bar Spring when they re-assembled the passenger side brakes. I'm hoping some of you that part-out EB's or someone that has upgraded to rear disc will have these parts. It's to a '68 small bearing 9 inch...
I'll pay shipping and something extra for your trouble.
Thx for looking.

When I switched to rear disc I tossed the rear drum parts. Maybe someone's got the parts but I'd try Tom's Bronco or someone like Bronco Hut on Monday, it just depends on how urgent it is. I'm sure one of the parts houses will have your parts. Hopefully someone will have saved their parts for you.
Just my 2cents, good luck!

Did you try Napa Auto Parts? How about West Coast Broncos in Yucca Valley. National Parts Depot on line. Just a couple of suggestions.

Tried Napa, Autozone, Pep Boys, nothing.
Can't even get the front "Shoe to Shoe" spring.
West Coast made the last one they needed.
Hopefully Rusty will have the parts and ship them.
Bronco Hut or wrecking yard is next.
Thx for the suggestions.

I ran into a similar problem when I mistakenly tossed out a Parking Brake Level with the old Brake Shoe. I looked around and was surprised at how much that stuff was going for. My friend Bill Thomas (of Bill Thomas Enterprises) had one for a reasonable price. His shop is in San Bernardino off of the 215. Phone number (909) 888-7949. His specialty is Ford Rear ends.

I found that most the 70's F100 PU trucks break parts change out with my 76. i DON'T KNOW ABOUT A 68?I did find a real nice windshield washer bottle and pump off a 75 f-100that is just like my bronco and it had the same jack strap under hood also.

Thx Terry, I went ahead and ordered new parts from Tom's. I should have them by Friday. I also wanted new hub nuts since the PO had taco'd them up pretty badly. And the Hub Nut socket. 15$ was easier than making one.

Early 70's P/U was how I found the "shoe to shoe" return spring that I ordered from Napa. It'll be in this AM with the new hub seals. Hopefully they are the same.
The condition of these brakes amazes me. No wonder the pedal was mushy. Even the Master Cylinder was plumbed backwards.

I've found a P/N for Napa and am going to try and order that.
Cheaper than getting it from Jeff's after you include shipping.......

Well, the springs from Napa that I ordered weren't correct. Too long.
I ended up talking with Tom's and they said that the spring is obsolete.
Going to complete the brake rebuild without them.

I recently rebuilt the drum brakes on my '67. I was able to buy a kit from Napa and it worked fine (I went to the Fontana warehouse). Try going to the online Napa store and find the part there. That's what did, parts were on will call.

My '67 has the light duty axle (10" brakes). I kept some of the originals pieces that you can have. I'm in Rancho Cucamonga.

Terry, I was able to get everything from Napa except for the "shoe to shoe" springs for the front. These are the ones that go where the Spreader Bar goes on the rear. The Spreader Bar & spring I was able to get from Tom's. It'll be here today so I can complete everything Sunday. Thx.
