Frame saver installation question

I need a frame saver installed at the rear, #4 body mount below where the tailgate is. Has anyone ever installed this while the body is still mounted to the frame? If so, can I just lift the body at the rear high enough to get the necessary tools in there to install, provided the doors, etc. are braced? All input is appreciated. I really don't want the remove the body. Thanks in advance.

If the frame saver is going to be installed flush with the top of the frame I would try it. If you are going to set it on top of the frame and weld, it may cause body alignment issues.
The other thing to ponder is what do the rest of them look like?

I had the same problem and what i did was take a piece of 1/8" flat stock approximately 4"x 5" and bent it 90 degree's so the top part was the same width as the frame and the side part was the same length as the side of the frame. then use a hole saw to drill a hole in the top the same size as the new body mount. Then just slide it in place, installed the new body mount, bolted through the side of the frame, then tack weld it to the top of the frame and side of the frame. Worked great and was fairly easy to install without removing the body.
