Front bench seat

After years of thinking about it and a nightmare episode with a crooked resto shop I finally bought a Bronco off BAT. One of the things on my to do list is a front bench seat so that I can fit a family of five. I know original front benches exist but I have no idea how to find one. Anyone have any advice on a bench out of some other make of car that fits well?

Option 2: Get a jump seat to go between the buckets. Here is the Stroppe version.

The bonus on this option is the passenger bucket will still fold and flip up for easier access to the rear bench. It's very difficult to get in the back with a front bench especially a stock one without a split back.

If someone knows how to get hold of a Stroppe seat that would be great too. I’m surprised no one is recreating them. I’m in North Florida.

Try a Jeep Grand Wagoneer middle seat. Many use them and reupholster them. Bonus is they fold to an armrest when not in use. Try the search bar and I'm sure there's some pics.

Alright, we will consider the Wagoneer middle seat as well for the incoming Bronco project. We're just finishing the installation of the suspension and dually wheels on the Superduty this week before we can start working on the Bronco. The driver seat needs new upholstery and gonna get the middle seat while we're there.

A 69 Mustang bench (with the headrests) would be very cool and the center tunnel could hide a stereo amp or something but 700-800 for a trashed seat + shipping +reupholstering gets pretty extravagant. I need to run some measurements but I’ll
probably go with new Procar classic seats with headrests and no bolster and add a center jump seat of some sort. A modern Ford truck jump seat would be nice with the built in shoulder belt but dimensions might be off.

Unless you are very lucky you will pay at least that for an early Bronco bench seat

there's 'used' v modern & new but I C the 6hundred $ in both is typical (& ridiculous).
These R so easy to recover DYI (even re-stuff, do a lill repair to frames/springs) that I think some of U who've rebuilt a carb or other intermediate stuff can easily take it on. I'm surprised that it's not done more often.

Hey Chrisful

I know it's been awhile since you've hit this topic, but I'm looking for the middle seat for my 74 Explorer, your absolutely correct on the insane prices, the rich mf don't blink an eye but us regular folks have a hard time just doing little projects on our broncos, would you happen to know where I could get one or maybe like you were talking out of a falcon or similar. I'm making mine a halfcab so the fold down middle seat would be perfect.
Thanks for your time,
Mthalfcab

No Chrisful here it's "Chad" see sig below.
You're seeing c h r L s f u L as c h r "i" s f u l

"... the middle seat for my..."
not me. The 3 or 4 it took me to make mine (back in '80s)
never were so equipped. See the chap'n his pic above. My 1/2
cab (1/3rd the time) has a bench but frm same Y/M but not
Model. We usta B a hardy band of make do, mod, and DYI.
Since the expansion of da net the bronk has taken off in costs
AND a move further away frm oem. My attempts have been 'sleeper
mods' for performance (that = MPGs, pep & the brand's real
multi-purpose utility). I'd geta Toy ('70s LC-BJ40) or LR if wanting off rd,
ora 6th gen F-150 w/a 4.9 efi for a rd truck (I like that under-bed tool box)
and the look of the p/u (for me) is the best of any vehicle ever made. (Back
to off rd: an F250 4WD short bed, step side w/2 18 inch race stripes) aahahahaa
