Front D44 gear oil capacity?

Hate asking a question like that, but couldn't find the answer. Is it 40 ounces?

It's got an aftermarket cover with a raised fill plug, that's why I'm asking, don't want to overfill.

sorry I stuck my nose where it did not belong, But I buy gear oil by the gallon. I could care less if it over fills. Thats why I have cardboard and a rag.
I will not measure one and half quarts and not use my hand pump

Yeah you can't really overfill it. Just start pouring!
