I'm looking for a fuel pump for my 1966 Bronco - 289. Just bought the vehicle and it has an aftermarket fuel pump on it. I have no wipers at this time. Does anyone have one I could buy?

I have one but not sure if I want to part with it. Just rebuilt it but it doesn't fit now that I added power steering. It's an original USA carter pump....pretty rare from what I've found out. Pm me and maybe we can figure something out

I bought the 66 vacuum boost pump for a 170 six, like oreilly for $100 recently, no core, don't know if it would use the same pump

Check with Delconick if you're wanting stick with an original. The original 170 pumps had 10 screws on the top, and pretty sure the 289 did as well. I saw a few at Super Celebration 2016, so I know there's a few still out there.

Why do you guys keep talking about the six cylinder pump when he's asking about one for a V8?

They are completely different, not interchangeable, and the V8 pump has been an obsolete part for many years.

last time I tried to find the combo pump all places told me it is no longer available so I just used a pump for a 289 mustang and routed my vacumm to the line that feed the pump ,works great most of the time some times I have to lift off the throttle a little for the wipers to speed up .I have thought of adding a vacumm storage tank just because ,but for now I`ll just keep it the way it is cause it is working just fine

I have one from my '68 with a 289. It's made by AC and I know there are rebuild kits and rebuilders that can work on it. All I need is shipping costs. It looks good but age alone is plenty of reason to rebuild it.

Hey Ryan

What type of PS upgrade did you do? Couldn't find it on your build thread but noted the incompatibility with original fuel pump...

Don't think the Vacuum fuel pump will fit with a PS upgrade. The pump for PS sits right where the enlarged vacuum side of the fuel pump sits.

One of my debates on adding PS to my 66 with a 289.

Yeah I put an original bronco PS set up off a 73 or 74 not sure in the year but had to do some mods to keep the stock overflow tank! Love the look of that!
